BIOGRAPHY

The Anchor Creek is made up of Samuel Norbury (vocals & drums), Tom de Groot (guitar) and Dick Thole (bass), and was formed in 2012. Starting out the band mainly focused on playing blues rock tunes, embracing a deep love for melody and emotion in their music. After releasing their debut album ‘Family’, the band started writing new material for its upcoming sophomore album. For this album the guys have combined the music they love and listen to into a unique new sound. The new material feels more organic and features energetic and heartfelt songs that find influences in folk, soul and rock music. The band loves to go out and win over stage after stage with their famously energetic live shows.
